How do we convey a world of imagination?

Branding proposal for the oldest Children's theatre in London. Branding developed as a response to the essence of Polka.

"Polka stimulates even the biggest child's imagination and is a magical place where you can share a special moment with your children."

Key concepts: unconventional journey, fairytale and imagination.

I created the wordmark by exploring paper as a material and, the way in which lettering can create spaces. This led me to using the letter A as a doorway into another story and functional aspect of the branding.
